“As an artist, particularly a singer/songwriter, you hope to write in your lifetime a song that could last generations. That in itself is an almost impossible task, you cannot predict which one of your songs will hold true today as it will in many decades to come. I found myself becoming known for simply being on the stage and delivering emotional experiences to audiences…but that’s such an immediate thing and something so ephemeral. And so I’ve invested my emotions into objects that will hopefully last a lifetime for a family, and more, something to leave behind long after I’m gone!

After years of touring and travelling and recording for over 40 years, and being held in during Covid, with no creative output, and no means to create an income from my profession, I started to paint my way out of a black hole. It has been a most unexpected gift to discover there are many ways to tell a story or sing a song.

I named my art as my ‘Unsung Songs’!”
